Doing the detox

Have been detoxing for the past last...16 days. And have about 15 left to complete the detox month.
Now you may ask yourself why??? But w-h-y?
Well. I am not preggers (thank God or similar). And I am not succumbing to alcohol abuse. I am not suffering - yet - of liver disease.
Actually I just wanted to test myself and see if I was able to go from dusk at Riche to dawn at Spy without a single drink. And I could! Am very proud.

But I am also quite thirsty. And lately, going out has been kind of masochistic, watching people enjoy their drinks and get happysillypartycrazy.
Detox is supposed to cleanse you and make you more energized but I have to admit that I've been having some weird kind of hallucinations about tequila martinis and sparkling champagne. And the other day I felt hungover when waking up, even though I didn't have a single drop of booze. Weird. Very much so.

Whatever it is I am detox experiencing I am quite glad it will be over in a couple of weeks....
